Design Guide.

Welcome to our webpage dedicated to explaining the importance of high-quality and professionally designed artwork for producing high-quality graphics.

When it comes to creating visually appealing graphics that accurately represent your brand, high-quality artwork is essential. While it may be tempting to use low-quality images or artwork in an effort to save time and money, the end result will likely be subpar and fail to capture the attention of your target audience.

Professionally designed artwork, on the other hand, is created with the specific purpose of producing high-quality graphics. It takes into account factors such as color, contrast, resolution, and image size to ensure that the final product is visually appealing and attention-grabbing.

Using high-quality artwork also ensures that your graphics will look great across a range of mediums, from digital platforms to printed materials. This can help to maintain a consistent and professional image for your brand, which is crucial for building trust and credibility with your audience.

At our company, we understand the importance of high-quality artwork in producing high-quality graphics. That's why we work with skilled designers who can create custom artwork that meets your specific needs and helps your brand stand out from the competition. What is 'print ready' artwork?

Print ready artwork is a design that has no need for a graphic designer to intervene before manufacturing.

The customer may give drawing concepts or send screenshots of a design they have created using free online design software.

Although these can be great help in the early stages of designing graphics, this artwork can't simply be sent straight to the printer and it would still need to be re-created using professional software.

The artwork needs to be designed to the correct scale, so the graphics / images measure up correctly.

The original file
should always be saved in the filetype Ai, EPS, PDF. These formats are what is called vector formats, which are the formats needed to be printed in the highest quality.

What is a Vector Format?

We may ask you for your logo or graphic elements to be sent in a vector. These are either an Ai, EPS or PDF file.

If your graphics or logo have been professionally designed, you should have been sent them at least one of these file types.

If your graphics in these file types are unattainable, don't exist or in a different file type (either JPG, PNG, or BMP) we can provide our design services re-draw the artwork in the correct format.

Vector artwork is always necessary. It is so that the printers and cutters can read what size to output the graphics.

Vector files
will never decrease in quality no matter how large you scale them.

Think of it like a drawing that can be made bigger or smaller without becoming blurry. Vector files are often used for logos, illustrations, and other graphics that need to be resized without losing their clarity.

When you scale up a non-vectored, the lines around the edges will eventually begin to pixelate. For example:

Important.

You may have only one of these filetypes: JPG, PNG or BMP. These cannot be used.

If you have these formats only
Do not be tempted to use an online converter to convert these files into Ai, EPS or PDF.

You can't turn low resolution or non-vector files into high quality files using free software.(if it was that easy, we would do it ourselves!)

nding on your requirements, ultimately depends on the cost.

Our design process has been created so that there is a clear understanding between client and designer.

  1. The customer and designer will discuss the design requirements and expectations.

  2. A design project agreement will then be created that will outline the proposal, project scope, deliverables, cost and timeline.

  3. The customer and designer will then work closely together in order to meet the requirements on the proposal. This can be over the phone or through email.
